Goodbye summer

Last weekend we went to the river for our final river trip of the season. However, the weather was not as warm as we had planned.  We left Friday night late, never even turned the air on in the house.  The wind was blowing, so we decided to just hang out.  We went to Laughlin for breakfast Saturday morning, then shopped in the mall.  We were still trying to decide if we wanted to take the boat out on the river to just cruise.  Then we thought about the work to get it on and off the water for a couple of hours and thought never mind.  Instead we took the girls to Oatman and fed the donkeys.

Goodbye boat, oh how I will miss you.  Thank you for such an amazing summer.

Have you ever been to Oatman?

Not much of a town and actually its a dive.   Its a bikers hang out.

They have a few stores and a bar.

We bought some donkey food and the girls had a blast.

 So crazy how tame they are.  The donkeys that is not my girls!
