HAPPY MONDAY!
So this morning Kent called me and well, just take a look at the picture...

Good news is, he is okay!! Bad news is his truck hurts a bit!

However, just take a peek at these two and it makes every thing a okay!

Pioneer Woman, I think I love you!

I have been reading on other blogs about this Pioneer woman and her website. I have often looked at her page and recipes but haven't attempted one until tonight! I think I love her. She is very entertaining and the food is to die for!
Chicken Parmigiana

(The wine in this picture Trader Joes, Green Fin $3.99 a bottle Yummo!)
Doesn't that Chicken look amazing?
Ok, I forgot to take a picture of it, so this is off her page. However, mine looked just like this no joke. Super easy to make and flavor to die for!!
We paired it with this. Sweet Red Wine by Joseph Handler. Trader Joes $4.99 and wonderful. Kent had bought this a while ago at a Traders in Rancho and we have had trouble finding it in Corona. So today, we went to Costo in Chino Hills and the Trader's in Chino Hills has it! BTW, that was a great Trader Joe's.

Misc. weekend stuff.

Remember my last blog of a rough week? Well, Friday night it was rougher. Is that possible? Yes, yes it is. Anyway, I worked on laundry all night and caught up on Tivo (since the power was out all day!) Finally went to bed about 11:30 p.m. or so. Kent was snoring so loud I couldn't sleep. So I proceeded to do what any good wife would do and punch, pinch, push and kick him to get him to stop. Ahh, finally quiet. Then it happened, 1:00 a.m. Amy came walking into our room crying, she had a scary dream and wanted to sleep in our (queen size) bed. Now we barely have enough room for us but add anther body and ugh. So she climbed in the middle. I could not go back to sleep, with the snoring that started again and the extra body forget it. So I stumbled into Amy's room shortly after. Just as I lay down, Ricks phone is ringing (playback tone and super load) and he isn't answering it. So I get up open his door and yell Rick your phone. Stumble back to bed its only 1:30 a.m.. Then Hannah lets out a cry, so I lay there and listen to see if she will go back to sleep or get up. Thankfully, she went back to sleep. Then I had ear rings on that were bugging me, so at some point took them out and tried to get comfy in Amy's twin bed that isn't so comfy. Soon Hannah is crying again. Again went back to sleep. By 4:30 a.m. she was crying and calling for Mommy so I get her out of her crib and put her in Amy's bed with me. She was so confused and kept saying "Amy;s room"? Yes, Hannah Amy's room, go to sleep. By 6:00 a.m. I couldn't do it anymore so I got up and made a huge pot of coffee and drank almost the whole pot before anyone else got up!
Here is Hannah is Amy's bed, I didn't use a flash cause I didn't want to wake her up. So the picture isn't so hot.
Saturday was the Princess Tea and COTH put on by Norco High Madrigals. Anyway, I still have a cough and was not feeling it this year, but Grandma Cozart took Amy. They had a great time.
Picture of the cute do I gave Amy.
Today we did tons of errands and Hannah wanted to bring her dolls and purse.
Hannah's cute do today.
This afternoon, daddy and the girls washed the quads to get ready for the last riding trip of the year. EASTER!
Hannah washing her quad.
Amy washing her quad.
I was suppose to be washing the motor home, but didn't! I'll do it his week after the girls go to bed.

Recap of the week.

Ugh, what a week...
First, I have had a head cold since last Friday! This includes no voice. It's so frustrating to try and talk to someone and they say what, what I can't hear you. I feel like I strained my voice even more! Then I had a long and crazy week at work. We are short staffed and just got shorter! So we have to take one of the girls from the front desk and move her to the back, which means, NO MORE EVERY OTHER MONDAY OFF FOR ME! WHAAAAAAAAA (starting this Monday). Hopefully we will hire someone soon.
I have laundry for a family of 5, BACKED UP! I thought I would be able to get that taken care of today. Well, the power has been off since 9:05 this morning and just came back on at 4:10 p.m.. I now get to spend the night playing catch up with the wash!
On a good note, my friend Tawnya told me about this peanut butter that is so yummy. I love peanut butter. I can eat it straight from the jar. So after I dropped Amy off at school, Hannah and I ran some errands. AAA to pay the motor home tags. (OUCH!) Then to the bank and off to Ralphs for this special PB.

Amazing! It's like eating a reese's on a spoon! If you haven't tried it I certainly recommend it. After my crazy week, it was a yummy treat.

Another good note: Check out this cutie. First time in piggy tails! She looked so stinkin' cute!!
This picture cracks me up! Hannah brought her shopping cart to Amy and climbed in and told her to "push Hannah". Doesn't look like Amy is jumping up to do it!
I was putting a new picture in a frame today and I usually have a bunch under, So I was looking at them and I found this one of me and Rick in my brothers wedding 4/1997. Wow, I was skinny! I was pretty too! I better get on the treadmill. Rick looked so handsome in his tux. He was 6 yrs old and is cute as can be! Now this kid is 19! Man, the time sure flies by.
This picture of my whole family was in it too. My dad, mom, brother sister and me. I am even skinnier then my sister! Hmm, I NEVER have been smaller then her.
What a nice looking bunch!!
Another happy note, I have been watching my food in take this week and I have lost 4 lbs! Yeah me! I really need to get this weight off and get ready for the summer: boating, bathing suits, sun bathing and really to be healthy for me and my family! Wish me luck on this never ending journey.
Happy Friday !!

Home again...

Some of you might get tired of my camping pictures, but thats what we do. We were gone again this weekend and enjoying the much needed family time and friends.
Here's that Amy.
Amy again, following us.
Whats this? Be still my heart! Is that Rick? Why, yes it is!! Can you believe our son went with us for an entire weekend? I LOVE IT!!! BTW, the pretty brunette is is gf Cynthia. Her first time camping and first time riding. She rode Amy's quad and then Rick took her for lots of rides in the Ranger. She liked t. (Except the fact that her and Rick got pulled over Friday night by rangers for no tail light on the 90.) Thankfully they let them go.
Just some visiting going on.
Showing off on the 50.
Nice form, I give him a 10! LOL
Girls, just want to have fun!
Check out the toys, looks like a playground in the middle of nowhere.
Poor Hannah was having trouble walking in all the ruts from the mud a few weeks ago. Her poor little legs are all scraped up.
But that didn't stop her from doing this... She kept pushing Kents hand off the handle bars and would say "hannah do, hannah do!"
Here Hannah was saying, "more mommy, please", and the she would say "help, momma help hannah"
Kent all ready for a "boys" ride, that means they go fast and far. No kids or women get to go on these rides.
Who is that big girl? Doesn't Hannah look so big?
Hannah and Link, future BFF's ?? We will see, maybe someday.
Just diggin' in the dirt. They love the dirt!!
I took this picture from my motor home to hers. My zoom on my camera is awesome!! Momma and Payton.
Link was just chillin.
My sister bought this for Amy's birthday a few years ago. Well, we finally put it up and the kids loved it!
Pretty soon there was standing room only.
Jarrett helped Hannah put Amy's boots on. Maybe this will protect her knees.
These kids all play so nice together. Its a great time for them and us adults!! Love camping with this bunch!
Amy following Kent in the Ranger. She is so brave.
Hot stuff on that turn.
I think Hannah likes it too.
Thanks for the fun weekend. Can't wait to go again for Easter!!

Easter is on its way.....

Our church is making Easter Baskets for less fortunate kids. So I picked up a basket last Sunday for a 6 year old girl. I filled it full of goodies and personal items. I have a barbie, Kite, Journal, pencils, jump rope, bubbles, nail polish, pretty soap, chap stick, q-tips, pretty lotions, hair brush, two toothbrushes, 3 travel size toothpaste, floss, Chocolate bunny, lollipop, and a few other odds and ends.
Hope she enjoys it!!

Picnic on the playground

One Friday a month, Amy's school has "picnic on the playground" where you get to come and have lunch with you child. Today was the day. Hannah and I went to Wendy's and picked up lunch. Then we waited for Amy to get out of class.
Here she is...
Her little friend Morgan bought her lunch and then joined us on the blanket.
After they ate they ran to go and play.
Around and around she went...
Then they came back to get a quick drink and tackle Hannah.
I let Hannah climb with Amy. I took this picture and thought it was pretty cute of my girls.
Then we went to the slide.
After that it was time to go back to class. We had a fun time and got to see Aunt Kelly and the boys, plus some other friends too. Hannah was so tried she went right down for a nap. Hope she wakes up in time to pick up sister from school!!
