Weekend Fun....

Okay, so Kent and I have been talking about buying some cheap Tennis Rackets and get off our butts and do something.  So here they are.  Isn't my pretty pink one cute??  So tonight me, Kent, Amy and Hannah rode bikes to the park and then Kent and I hit the ball back and forth.  Amy tired too but she was a bit to small for the racket.  Maybe in a few months we will actually be able to play the game! hahaha

Check out what Rick is doing

So Rick and his friend Joey have been making a room in the back of the lower garage.  This will be their hang out.  I'll keep you all posted on the progress.  I wish I would have had a before picture.  Where all the new plywood is it was either open or really old.

Where's waldo 2?

So before Hannah is too big to hide her in the dolls.  We thought we would do this again. Can you find her???

I survived!

So today was the first day back to work and we all survived!  I have to say thanks to my fabulous and wonderful husband we were able to have a nice evening.   So Kent picked up not one but BOTH girls and started homework with Amy.  So I was able to just come straight home after work.  Then when I got home he said lets go out to dinner.  Yea! We went to my favorite place Rodrigoes and I even treated myself to a strawberry daiquiri. YUMMY.  It was a long day and I missed the girls tremendously but we all made it through.  I had a few emotional moments during the day, but I was able to contain myself. Lets hope the rest of the weeks goes this smoothly....

I owe, I owe, so back to work I go.....

So this post is a hard one to write, because it means I return to work on Monday.  My maternity leave and summer has just flown by.  I have enjoyed the bonding time with Hannah especially because I know this is my final baby.  It has also been special because I have been able to have additional bonding with my precious Amy.  She started kindergarten in July and I have been able to take her to school and pick her up as well as work in her classroom.  I never had this opportunity with Rick because I had to work 5 days a week, basically since he was 8 weeks old.  Once again I have to leave my most precious and most valuable babies in the care of others.  Hannah will go to Lauren's, whom I love and am so fortunate to have and  Amy will go to after school care.  No matter how much you like who you leave them with its still never easy.  I wish I was one of the lucky moms that could stay home and raise my own babies.  Keep me and the girls in your thoughts and prayers that we will all survive the first week of work for me. (Don't forget Kent and Ricky they will probably get the worst of my frustration). We will have to hustle in the morning to get everyone where they belong and then the evenings oh I dread the evenings; dinner, dishes, homework, baths and bed, so much for the quality time. That's the part that makes me so sad, no quality time.  How can there be when we are away from the home 10 hours a day (between traveling and work itself) I leave at 7 a.m. and I get home at 6 p.m. that leaves only 2 hours for the dinner, dishes homework and bath.  We live in a world that money and possessions control our lives and in turn we place our precious cargo with others to raise.

3 Months, HOLY COW!

Where has the time gone?  I can't believe my baby is 3 mos. old already .  The first picture Hannah is 3 days old 7 lbs 10 oz and the second one is 3 mos. old 11 lbs 7.5 oz !  She sure has grown.

Life after graduation...

Okay, people always ask "What is Rick doing" or "why don't you have pictures of him." So I will answer all your questions.... Rick has been doing great he works every day for Boice.  He leaves at 4:45 a.m and we see him sometime around 6 p.m. sometimes later.  Ah, welcome to the real world.  Weekends he sleeps until noon and leaves to get lunch and then hangs out with friends.  This explains why no pictures because at 17 you just don't hang out with your parents unless forced!!  Come on, you all remember those days....  Matter of fact Rick and Alex went to the fair with us, but we hardly ever saw them.  They were out looking for girls.  (I guess we would cramp their style.)  As for school he has registered at RCC but has not taken his assessment test yet.  I have great faith in him, he will eventually go to school and someday support us! Haha  He is saving money to buy a Polaris Razor.  He better let me drive it! (Especially after he almost rolled my ranger, if it wasn't for Kent's cat like reflexes he would have.)  He's says he is going to sponge off of us as long as possible.  Maybe even stay at home until he is 26 like his dad did! HA.  Actually , I wouldn't mind so long as he is behaving, being respectful and saving money to buy a house.  Anyway, thats what Rick has been up too.  So if you don't see many pictures of him on my blog its not because I don't want them, its because he's just not around much.    We love him and are proud of him and know he will do great things in the future.

L. A. County Fair

My fabulous sister had tickets to the fair for saturday only.  So we took advantage of it and off we went.  We went about 4 p.m. and the weather was perfect not to hot! Well, I wanted to see Sugarland play but the concert was full.  I was able to get 2 tickets and my nephew Kory really wanted to see them play.  So I gave my sister the tickets and the two of them went.  They both said it was awesome. It was Korys first concert.  You should have seen him smile when I gave them the tickets,  it melted my heart.  I love you Kor!!
Here is me, Kory and Amy in the train.
Dragon Coaster.  Put your arms up Amy!!!

Out of the mouth of babes

Okay, so I picked up Amy today from school and asked how her day was.  She said good, good.  Then she said that she told Zachary she wasn't ready to be "that" kind of friend right now.  She said he said its about time you said that and walked away!!  So I asked what do you mean "that" kind of friend.  She said you'll learn when your older what that means!!!! My oh my, how the kids grow up.  Its so crazy the things they say.

Labor Day Hannah

This is the only picture I have of Hannah from the weekend.  She stayed at the river house with grandma and grandpa while we went out on the lake. Doesn't she look so cute in her birdnest bed?
