not to exciting..

The girls had some gift cards from their birthday that they wanted to spend. On Friday I took them to Target and they bought themselves some toys. Amy bought a new Wii game and a operation game. Hannah bought a little people town and a vtech Alphabet learning toy. They were so excited. This is from Saturday morning playing operation. We did most of our errands on Saturday and I made a yummy dinner of BBQ steaks with PW individual scalloped potatoes. YUMMO!! Then I went to visit my gf that had jaw surgery on Thursday. She looked amazing. I am so proud of her, they did so much stuff on her and she was still in good spirits.
Sunday after church we had a couple of little things to do and Kent had big plans of working on the house and cushman. However that never happened. Instead we watch Book of Eli, for the record GREAT movie. If you haven't seen I highly recommend it!! Not for kids, so make sure they are napping or bed time. Sunday night, we invited some friends over for BBQ. I made PW Grilled chicken with lemon pasta, oh my was it good and very summer tasting. We had salad, garlic bread and cantaloupe too. Michelle whipped up several different kinds of cheese cake for dessert. (Okay, so she bought a variety pack of cheese cake, but they were so tasty).

The Dr. I work for is off this week, so I work 8-4 with no lunch and get home early. I love that. The girls wanted to swim, so I popped some coconut shrimp (TJ's) in the oven and rice on the stove add some cantaloupe and fresh tomatoes from Mom Cozarts garden and dinner was done and so good. Then they swam! These 2 are a couple of fishes. They swam Sunday night until after 9 p.m. with our friends and again tonight. I think they might just get water logged.
Hannah jumps in from the first step.

HELP, SOS

S.O.S.
This cute girl has single handily made my daycare provider quit!
(Okay, not really but she did get a teaching job and really is quitting)

Here is the problem, please help!
Lauren has been a part of our family for 7 years. She watched Amy from 3 mos. to 5 yrs old and then Hannah from 3 mos. - present. I just can't imagine leaving my girl(s) with ANY one else. I trust her, I love her, she teaches them, she LOVES them!
We cannot afford for me to stay home without some sort of income on my part.
I am thinking about opening my own daycare, problem is I don't know anyone that is looking for daycare. (Hence the reason Lauren is not doing it anymore) So if you know anyone that is looking, I would need 3 kids full-time at a reasonable rate to even consider quitting my job. Please let me know if you would be interested in me watching your precious babies, toddlers or kiddies. I love kids and when I was younger I babysat ALL the time. I was a nanny for 2.5 years and loved it, I worked for an amazing family. (I left when I got my first job in a dental office.)

My other option is finding some sort of a job that I can do from home such as medical or dental billing. I do that now and am very good at it. However, I haven't found any openings for this type of job. So if you know anyone that is looking for some sort of office help that can be done from home, could you let me know that as well?

I have to figure something out quickly, because Lauren will be starting her new job in August. Also, Hannah is not quite potty trained and so some schools are out for her at this point.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Are you tired of my river pictures?

Last week was so rough on me and Thursday wasn't any better. So I was very happy to go to the river on Friday night. We left here about 5:30 p.m. and arrived in Bullhead at 9:30 p.m. and it was HOT, I mean HOT! We went in the house and turned the air on, the house was 121 degree's. Did I mention it was 9:30 at NIGHT?! The girls were done with the car and we needed to go to the grocery store to get food for Saturday. So we dropped them off at my parents house and then Kent and I headed to the mighty super Walmart. I think all the bullheadians where there. It was packed with all sorts of people and some had very small/ infant children out. It must have been about 10:30 p.m. by then. It has been so hot I bet they stay inside until night and then do all there shopping. We took everything we bought back to the river house and it was still 100 degrees and its after 11:00 p.m.. So we went back to my parents house, Hannah was asleep on the couch and Kent was falling asleep. So we decide to just stay there in the cool air. We all slept in our clothes and got up early in the morning and snuck out of their house to go home. Can you image me, Kent and the two girls sneaking out of a house early in the morning so we wouldn't wake my parents. Funny, I tell ya. We loaded the boat and the ice chest and I think we were on the water by 8:30 a.m. It was so beautiful, the water was perfect temperature and no wind!!!
Here is Amy and Papa just chillin'
Hannah loves to play in the sand, this girl could do this all day.
Camp, we stayed in this same spot over 4th of July and its really nice. Some sand, some big rocks and trees.
Amy is a tubing machine. this girl just wants to tube al day long. She is really good at it and she actually had a couple of BIG falls. She did a back flip off it once and I was worried about her neck, but when we got to her, she said " did you see that I backed flipped off"? I think I am in trouble with this one.
Daddy wanted to take Hannah so I drove the boat and he tubed with her. I didn't think i could drive and take a picture so here they are getting ready for the big adventure.
Surprise surprise I was able to drive the boat and take a picture! I am amazing!! So Hannah LOVED the tube. Check her out with her hands in the air! Umm, she's TWO!!! I think I am in trouble with this one too!
Amy thought she would like to try to Ski. So My dad floated in the water with her and Kent gave her the instructions on what to do. HIT IT!
Oh YEAH, she's up!! That's my 7 year old! I am a proud mommy right now. WAY TO GO AMY!! I think next trip she will go even farther.
The day was over and time to bring in the anchors and head back to the launch ramp. Well, my dad couldn't get the anchor up. He tugged and pulled and tugged some more. When he finally got it up it was covered with a bush! I think he brought up the whole bottom of the late. LOL
Sunday we thought we would go out again, but I had a sore throat and was so congested I didn't want to go out. So Kent and the girls washed the boat.
I am sure he loves that they help him. In case you are wondering, we have jobs at the river. While Kent washes the boat and unloads the stuff we don't store in it. I am in the house putting stuff away, making beds, laundry if needed, packing the duffle bags up so that we are ready to head home. (I love it cause I get to be in the air conditioning).
Here is the real helper. She does a great job!!
After the boat was washed and the girls and Kent showered we decide to go to the movies, so we went to The Riverside and saw Toy Story 3. Super cute movie, my parents even came along. Then we went back to their house and played Spinners. Kent won! We decided to hit the AVi for dinner and head home. (They have the best chicken noodle soup ever and I felt like soup). Kent and I went back to the river house and loaded the car on the way to the gas station I took this picture. 5:12 p.m. 116 degree's. Hannah and I were dying in the car.
15 minutes late its was 119 degree's. WHAT??? This is why we waited to leave. We didn't want to cross the desert when it was so hot. So we meet my parents at the Avi had dinner and finally headed home about 7:00 p.m.
I was still pretty yucky on Monday, slight fever and very congested. I had to work anyway. I think I was in bed by 7:45 p.m. last night. I feel a little better today. Its dropped into my chest so I have a yucky cough now. I think I am on the road to recovery. Hallelujah !!!

Hannah 2 year check up

Seriously, I have a 2 year old and she is one crazy baby!
Today was Hannah's 2 year check up, they asked me to put her in a gown.
( Check out my mini me photographer in the mirror)
This little cutie is 27 lbs, 7 oz and 34.5 inches tall
Dr. F said she is a perfect 50 percentile in height and weight.
Apparently, she has been in that since she first starting going to Kaiser.
She was so good and talked to Dr. Let her check her completely with out a peep. Kept calling her Dr. Beam (our Dentist) and was a perfect angel. Then the nurse came in to give her 2 shots. Let the crying begin. Hannah told the nurse no bandaid. (She hates bandaids)
By the time we were ready to go, she high five the nurse and walked out the door as if nothing had happened. I am a very proud mommy of a big 2 year old right now.
Happy Friday everyone!!

Will the week ever end?

UGH, this has been such a crazy week. I am so ready for it to end!
Monday, we were really busy at work and then pick up kids from daycare, come home to the normal cook dinner, do dishes, bath kids and get in a little me time.

Tuesday, another crazy day at work. Get kids from daycare, Get home, cook dinner clean up dishes. Then Amy yells, DAADD! Oh Wait this is a job for MOM! MMOOOMM, Hannah pooped on the floor! First thought is why is that a mom's job and second is spring into action so that I can get it cleaned before its tracked through the house. So I go in the bar, Hannah is sitting her in Coop Car with poop dripping out of her pull up and on to the seat of the car and then plopping on the floor. So I yell, Kent I need help! Pick up Hannah carry her to her room, where I find it was all over her hand, up her back, inside and outside of her tank top and jean shorts. So Kent came in with his shirt rapped around his nose. (otherwise he gags) and I proceed to remove her clothes carefully as to not let any more poop plop out anywhere else. Carried her to the shower where Kent finished the hosing of the baby! Ugh, not I have to rinse and scrub clothes and then still clean it up off the car and floor.

Wednesday, Get to work and my friend says that she got a weird e-mail from me this morning at 5:00 am, sorry not up quit that early. So She said it was weird and showed me it on her phone. Well, I didn't send it. Then I get two texts from other friends that they got a weird e-mail from me today too and didn't want to open it. So I logged into my account where I find 10 undelivered email failures, all the same weird email. So I texted everyone I could think of to warn them not to open any e-mails from me. I can only assume that someone is spamming my friends off my e-mail contacts. I have never had this happen and it was a bit unnerving to be honest. I was not in control of my own e-mail? So After a call to the mac guy, I came home and my firewall was not on. So I have now fixed that. I still need to call AT&T to make sure my firewall with them is up to date. After all this, another crazy work day, pick up kids, cook dinner and then Kent wants me to go with him to Home depot at 7:30 p.m. at night to get a few things for work. That meant loading the girls in the car and me. I didn't want to go, but he played that how many times do I go with you somewhere that I don't want to go card? So I went. We did make a stop at golden spoons on the way home, so I guess it wasn't so bad. Except the fact the girls are just now getting into bed.

Well, Happy hump day everyone! Hope you are all having a better week then me.

Grub Club... What??

So my friend Tawnya invited us over for their monthly grub club. A what? I say. They live in a condo complex and there is a group of neighbors that get together once a month for a block party. So we said sure lets go. I made PW baked beans, PW olive cheese bread and sliced up a watermelon. They had so much great food and we meet so many nice people.
Payton is a doll, seriously can a baby get any cuter? Amy was loving playing with her.
Hannah thought she would take Amy's bike for a little ride. I missed the picture of her sitting on the bike. This kid is crazy.
This is Tawnya's garage, they keep all the food in here and music and dancing in the next garage. BBQ's on the street. It was so fun.
Kids playing and running a muck.
Linkyn came too. Silly girls.
The girls played with Payton's toys.
Tawnya's birthday is next friday, so we sang Happy Birthday and the neighbor made her red velvet cupcakes.
Thanks again Tawnya and Will for inviting us. We had a great time. This was way more fun then sitting at home on the computer!!! :)

Still dancing.

Here it is Saturday morning and the girls are still wearing the new skating outfits!
Twirling and spinning
Amy was making sure Hannah was all put together.
Striking a pose.
Girls are so much fun.

Lost my blogging mojo...

Somewhere I have lost my blogging mojo, does anyone know where it is? I really want it back!! I love to blog and it is relaxing for me, but I have not had time to relax.
My gf came over yesterday, she had lots of old ice skating outfits that she wants to sale on ebay and needed someone to model them. Amy was the model and let me tell you she loved trying on each beautiful outfit and posing for a picture. Then she asked if she could buy one, so Wendy gave her one and Hannah one. I think they will wear them for Halloween this year! Double score!! Thanks Wendy! :)
Here is Amy wearing the one she gave to Hannah, she looked so cute. (Check out Hannah in the back ground. She is standing in her stroller to turn the lights on and off, UGH)
This was Krista's first skating outfit, Amy is in love with it!
We also had Amy's friend Morgan over yesterday for a playdate. They played dress up, swam and basically ran a muck all day long. This meant no nap for me!! This also meant I ddn't get to do all the laundry I wanted because I was watching girls swim.
Love this kid.
We had a dentist appt. this morning (friday) as well. This was Hannah's first true appt. for x-rays, cleaning and check up!
They love to go to the dentist!! Its like a inside park.
Hannah allowed them to take 2 x-rays and never even complained or cried. I am a proud mommy right now. After she did the x-rays they gave her two lollipops (sugar free of coarse) and the purple dinosaur she is laying with. They said they only have one other 2 year old that has done as well.
Then Brandy cleaned her teeth and flossed, while Hannah watched a movie. Here she is looking at Amy in the next chair. Then Dr. Beam came in and looked at her teeth, she never even once complained about it. He even held her after the appt. Again very proud momma!!
Amy always has done amazing, she never has complained either. She just lays there and watches a movie and lets them do whatever they want. She also got a great check up and they placed 3 sealants on her molars. Yayy, Amy. If anyone is looking for a children's dentist I highly recommend Dr. Beam in Riverside. He is awesome.
4th of July weekend. Me and the girls headed to the river on Thursday night after I got off work and I was able to get Kent a ride on Friday afternoon after work. It was so nice to be there until Monday!! Anyway, I got my camera out and the battery was dean so I took just a couple of pictures.
The water was perfect and the weather was amazing. I floated on a raft and relaxed. I love the river. Can't wait to go again!!
I thought the weather would be too hot, but it was perfect. We tubed, cliff jumped, watched fireworks on the river (from the boat), relaxed, ate, drank and enjoyed the company of our friends and family.
