Mani- Pedi

For Valentine's my hubby gave me and the girls a gift certificate for mani / pedi's.  So since we had a Princess Birthday Party to attend on Saturday, I thought we should go get gussied up!  So after Amy got out of school we went right over to Gorgeous Nails in Norco and had our nails done.

Last time, AMy and I went with out Hannah and she cried the whole time we were gone.  So daddy thought it was only fair to take her along.  As for relaxing while you get your nails done... not so much.  

Amy loves doing this.  I love it too, its so fun to have mommy time.

The ladies kept asking how old Hannah was and how good she was. That she sat the whole time and kept her hands and feet still.  Probably helped that they a kids movie playing on the TV. 

This lady was so good, she was much better then the gal that did her fingers. 

Here we are all.  Ready for the princess party!!

17 day diet update:  On day 4 of the accelerate program again. Starting over because I haven't lost everything I want to lose.  I am down almost 20 lbs in 39 days!!  Really need to get my exercise on now.  Hint hint Tawnya.  

Minnie goes to school

Amy has been working on a report for school.  It was a 3 part report. They did the written in school and then we had to make a diorama (see 3/1/11 post) and lastly she had to do an ora presentation.  During the Oral presentation you could bring props or the pet to school.  Since Amy did her report on Minnie, we brought her to school with us on Friday.

The kids ran over to see Minnie.  

Amy was so proud to have Minnie at school.

Then it was time to go inside.  Here is Amy trying to read while Minnie is checking everything out.

Minnie sure is a sweet puppy.

Then Amy got to walk around the class room and let all the kids pet Minnie. 

They LOVED her.

Ya know what  Minnie LOVED them.  

You could see how she was so enjoying being the center of attention.

Amy got a 90% on her report and I couldn't be prouder of her!! 

 She has come so far with everything this year.

Hannah's room

About a month ago, I changed Hannah from her crib to a bed.  Boohoo

I gave her crib and all her bedding (its was Amy's bedding too) to a friend of Ricky's who is going to be a single mom.  She loved their bedding and since we paid top dollar for it, I would rather give it to someone I know and loves it rather then the good will or even try to sale.  Anyway, I gave her the matching valance too, so I have been on the hunt to find something for Hannah's room.  

I found these curtains at Burlington, they were $15.00, perfect!!

Then when we were buying stuff for Amy's diorama, Kent and I found these at Michaels for $3.00 each.  So I bought the hooks that hang over the door for $2.00 and kent cut them and hung them and I attached the cute butterflies! There you have it! Perfect princess curtains for my little princess.   

My cousin Melissa also gave me a website for the wall decals and I bought Princess fairy's so as soon as they come in I will post more pictures.  Her little room is looking so cute!!

RETIREMENT

Back from a weekend of fun.

 I know I know, you are so tired of my weekend of riding posts.  

Sorry its what we do, its who we are.

This one is ready to get on her quad.

We had a pretty large camp this time.  It was a lot of fun,  only bummer is trying to get everyone loaded. We do a lot of this.

This past weekend was the Terra Del Sol, its a jeep group out of San Diego and they crawl, flip and just have a good time.  Its pretty fun to watch them. They also have a vendor area, Amy tired her hand at a rock wall.

I was in the motorhome with Hannah while she was napping.  I was watching the kids on the trampoline.  They were having so much fun, I grabbed my camera and tried to capture them.  It didn't work.

Amy is getting so good on her quad. Every time out she gets better and better.

After the fun me, Tawnya and Danielle had Friday night (Didn't get to the motorhome until almost 11:00 p.m. which meant neither did the kids).  I decided to bring Hannah in earlier and get her bathed and to bed.  Link wanted to watch a movie too.  So me and the little girls went to watch megamind.  You can see how well they watched the movie. HA!  They were to busy talking and being silly.  So cute.  Link is a doll.

I finally went out to get Amy, she laid on the pillow and fell asleep while the little girls giggled and played.

Next morning Amy must have been tired, she was grumpy and ever picture I tried to take she would hide her face or give ma a look.  You mom's know the one.

Sunday morning the kids got a little more jumping in.

and a little more wrestling in.

Before we loaded this bad boy up and headed home. 

Looking forward to the next trip girls!!!  Let the party begin!

Day 29

I can't believe it hasn't even been a month!!  If you have a little weight or a lot of weight to lose, I highly recommend this book to you.

School project

We are working on Amy's school project, Animal Report. Amy is doing her report on Minnie.  It has 3 parts to it.  Written, oral and visual.  The written is done at school, the oral we have to write and memorize at home and the visual is at home in the form of a diorama.

Amy wanted to make the back yard and her room, since that is where Minnie spends a lot of time.

Dr. Seuss

My friend Tawnya called me to let me know that Target was having a Dr. Seuss story time.  She wanted to know if me and the girls wanted to join her.  So of coarse we did.  We met at the Target in Mira Loma .  They had a small section set up in the boys department with stools, goody bags and fishy crackers.

 Amy was bored out of her mind.  It was cute how they had it set up, but it was a little boring.

 The girls had had enough, so since we were at Target we had to browse the store. 

After, we headed over to Borders, they are closing the MIra Loma store and everything was on sale 20-40% off.  So I bought the Hungry Girl cookbook and I am looking forward to cooking up some new healthiness. 

We were in the children's books and Amy grabbed a book and started reading to the girls.  So cute.  She is getting so big.  What happened to y baby?

Thanks Tawnya and Payton for the fun morning.  We need to get together again soon.

AMY!

On Friday Amy received and award for Improvement in Reading Comprehension.

Here her principle is handing her the award.

 Thats my girl!

She was so happy.  I didn't tell her she was getting anything, so she had no idea I was even at the school. Funny, her friends saw me and Hannah but Amy didn't see me until I walked up to take her picture.

 Right before we were leaving to go to Amy's school, Hannah was decorating Amy's trash can and

 herself!

So I yelled at her and told her she isn't suppose to color on anything other then paper.  She replies crying her eyes out, "I know thats what daddy tells me".  I say "why did you do it then?" Hannah replies" I don't know".  Good grief, this kid is crazy. =)  Then she hugs me and says "sorry mommy" and my heart melts.....


Diet update today is day 24 of the 17 day diet and I have lost 15.8 lbs!! Can I please get a woot woot?
