Happiest Place on Earth

DISNEYLAND!!!

Wednesday, we took the girls to disneyland. (Hannah's first trip).
Here we are on the 91 fwy. Happy Happy.
I asked the girls to make silly faces, this is what I got.
Can you tell they are excited?
We have arrived at the Magic Kingdom!!
First stop, Peter Pan.
This was Hannah's first ride. She LOVED it!!
Dumbo was the 4th ride and Kent could not get her off. She was crying. She wanted to stay on dumbo ALL day.
Amy and I on Dumbo.
Then it was off to Casey Jr. Train, the kids made us all sit in the Monkey cage.
Amy took ths picture of us. She is getting really good with the camera.
Next the Tea Cups.
Here's the only two to attempt them. Hannah and I watched from the side.
(It doesn't look like Kent was having much fun, but he said Amy wanted to do it, so he just sat back.)
On to Autotopia. On my gosh, this kid was killing me. We laughed so hard my side hurt when we got off. Hannah and Kent were so far behind I never was able to get a picture of them. Kent let Hannah drive. It was so funny to look back and see only Kent in the passenger seat. I never could see Hannah. He said Hannah was cracking up!
Then we had lunch at the Blue Bayou. We were lucky enough to sit right on the water. It was really fun.
After lunch, we meet up with Danielle, Link, Tawnya, Payton, Vicki, Linda and another friend of theres. We all went on Pirates together. We headed off to the Haunted Mansion and they scooted off to California Adventure. Hannah did so awesome the Haunted Mansion, didn't even faze her. Soon it was nap time. While Hannah napped Amy and I went on Splash Mountain and then headed over to Thunder Mountain where we took turns riding with Amy and the other letting Hannah nap.
Amy LOVED the roller coaster.
Now that Hannah was well rested we headed back over to Winnie the pooh. I absolutely love this ride. (Besides the fact that Pooh is my favorite character.) Since there was NO line we got to stay on and do it twice!
These girls were amazing!!
Just a little Hunny break!
Its a small world has new boats! They are plastic and very comfy. Once again no line, so we rode it twice without having to get off. Kent wasn't so happy about that. However, me and the girls loved it.
Look how excited she was to go again!
LOL
This is her cheese face.
M I C see you real soon, K E Y why because we like you, M O U S E!
Cute Minnies!
Can you spell Exhausted.
Just a little snack on the way out of the park.
DONE!!! Look at Amys leg,the rest of her is curled up in a ball.
This was this morning they both wanted to wear their new shirts.
What a great day. I counted that we went on 25 rides and 10 hours later we were home! Now the BIG decision is, pass or no pass. With working basically full time and Amy is in school how many times would be actually go?

WE'RE BACK.........

from camping that is.....
We went to the Terra del Sol in Ocotillo this weekend.
It was very fun to watch all the jeeps playing in the "worm".
I think the girls had a blast too.
Sweet lil Hannah already to ride.
Sweet Miss. Amy all ready to ride. ( I think I need to find her a different color chest protecter. This yellow just doesn't match!)
Hannah and Daddy out for a ride.
I think this was the best part of the weekend. While Tawnya was getting ready for the day, I got to hold and snuggle baby Payton. She is such a doll.
Amy and her friend Jordon. They go to school together.
These girls were cracking me up. They were doing the Chicken dance in out motor home.
Sleepy baby girl. She was so exhausted from all the days activities.

I have no idea why I didn't take more pictures. We were down with the jeeps and watching them crawl the walls and my camera was back at camp. UGH. I guess I was having a camera issue. Oh well, we will be going again soon. I heard it rained here. Some even lost power. We had NO rain until 5:00 am.m Sunday morning. So we headed out earlier then we normally would have. That was kind of nice, because I actually have ALL the dirty riding clothes and motor home towels, etc. all cleaned and back in the motor home! YIPEE!!!
Happy Sunday!! Hope you all have a great week.

Pretty hair

Amy came home with a fundraiser from school. They are selling Cookie Dough, so if any of you want to buy some let me know. Its $14.00 makes 40 cookies. Flavors: Chocolate chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter, White chocolate Macadamia and Snickerdoodle. I will have it by March 30, 2010. Thanks for your support a head of time.

Amy wanted her hair to be curly for school today. So I put 5 small french braids in it last night. This is what it looked like today. Can you tell how happy she is?

Serious BIG hair here!

This and that..

Well, its has not been very event full around here lately. I am not sure if thats good or bad.
After Friday nights father/ daughter dance I didn't have much more to report.
Saturday was raining and cold, so I took a couple of pictures of Hannah while the rest of the house was sleeping. (Except Kent, he worked for a bit in the morning).
Hannah loves to push her Dolls around the house. Check out her sippy cup in the basket.
Hmm, this might be some insight on Sunday afternoons delight.
Santa brought these slippers and she is finally able to wear them. They were too big at first.
Later Saturday afternoon, we had a family trip to Costco and then I came home and made Scallops with tomato herbs. So yummy. Pretty much stayed home the rest of the day and night.

Sunday, we woke up and went to church. We went to brunch at Rodrigoes and home. Kent put Hannah down for a nap in a T-shirt and diaper. I told him not a good idea, but he insisted she would be fine. Kent started working on the motorhome ( we are getting ready to go camping) and I went grocery shopping, get this ALL MY MYSELF. It was so peaceful.
When I got home, Hannah was awake in her bed. This is what I saw...
Oh ya, that's her diaper in her hand and NOT, I repeat NOT on her butt!
Thankful that it did not have poop in it! I think she must have peed in the diaper and then took it off, because it was full of pee, but her bed was dry. Kent is so lucky that it wasn't a mess in there.

Sunday afternoon, my son came home like this....

and this.....
Yep, on top of his tongue and ears already pierced, he decided to have his nose pierced and his wrist.
Son, we love you and we are proud of who you are. So why must you do these things to your body???? His answer and I quote " I was bored. LOL"
( I have a vote on facebook right now if nose piercings are for guys, girls, either or neither)

Woot Woot date night!

Father/ Daughter that is!
Tonight was Amy's schools Father/ Daughter Dance. She was so excited. After school we went to get her a new dress, because NOTHING in her closet would do. If we have this problem at 6, I hate to think what 16 will be.
Amy waiting for Daddy to get ready.
Finally, daddy was home and ready. Hannah had to be in the picture.
Hannah doesn't like for the attention to NOT be on her.
Ready for their big date!
Up close of Amy's hair.
Ahh, she is sure getting so big so fast. She is such a little lady.
Amy, you are such a blessing in our life. We love you and you make us so proud of you each and every day. Have a fun "date night" with daddy. Someday you both will look back on these nights with such fond memories. I love you.

What is that in your ear?

I am in the kitchen this evening cleaning up dinner dishes. Chatting away with Rick's girlfriend and Amy. When all of a sudden Hannah comes walking in the kitchen like she was just too cute. I look and say out loud "Hannah what the heck is in your ear?" I walked over to her and this is what I saw.
Do you know what it is???
Rick's lower retainer!!!! LOL So I ran and got the camera, when I came back she was adjusting it. Maybe she had an itch?
Look at that face, she is so proud of herself. I'm not sure if she thinks its an earring or a blue tooth!
This kid cracks me up! Well, I have to say I was glad she put the retainer in her ear. Its been a bit boring around here and I had nothing to blog about all week. I am hoping for my weekend to have some fun filled event in it.
