Look who crawls....

Yep, that's right HANNAH!!! She started to crawl last week like a couple of moves and then over the weekend she crawled backwards.  Well, tonight she crawls forward and quick too.  Oh man are we in trouble.  She already got to my "pretties".  She is just shy of 8 months.

Friday Play day

Amy's friends mom called me and asked if I could watch her boys after school on Friday.  So I picked them up after school and we went to Golden Spoons and then back here.  It was a cold raining day so they got a bit bored but here they are playing Candyland DVD game.  They also played hide in go seek with the play gun Rick gave Amy for Christmas.  The one seeking got to shoot the ones hiding.
Jacob, Zachary and Amy
I put Hannah in the walker to watch the kids play hide in seek, I guess it made her sleepy.

Itchy, Itchy, Itchy

Seriously, can you say ITCHY!!!  So Hannah has had a cold and then last Friday the Dr. said she had pink eye, then I woke up Sunday with it and Monday in both eyes.  I've been sharing her eye drops and stop using it and look what happened to me this afternoon at work. It is swollen, itchy and sore.  I'm waiting for the doctor to call me back with a new Rx for me.

It's so close I can almost taste it......

Oh yeah, home of the original double decker, I can taste it now.  This just makes me so happy, it truly brings a smile to my face.  Its so close we can walk or ride our bikes here.  Unfortunately, Kent said that's exactly what we have to do.  If I want Bobs for dinner he said I better get on my bike and start pedaling.  I can't wait to see the Bob's statue out front in his boots and hat! Yum yum, yum!

Hey dad and mom are you jealous????

Dedication Day

So Kent and I have been attending a Church for a little over a year now.  We decided to have the girls dedicated.  Basically what that means is we have made a commitment to God that we will raise our children to know and love him.  We will teach them his word and be a Godly example to them.  Then when they are older they can choose to get baptized and make the personal commitment for themselves.  My fabulous friend Danielle got up early this morning and met us at the church to take these pictures.  Thanks Danielle, I know that was a big deal for you!

Pastor Jim praying for the girls and us.
Pastor was explaining the reason we dedicate our children.
Still explaining. :)
The girls the morning of.
Here is my Nana with Hannah, I picked her up on Friday and brought her here for the dedication and to just spend some good old time with her.  She will be 85 this February 14!  Doesn't she look great.  Love this lady, she is such an inspiration to all.

Busy Busy

Wow, what a busy Friday.  First, Amy had an appointment at Kaiser for her thumb this morning after waiting for almost and hour it was our turn.  Her thumb has had a bend in it for some time now and we didn't know if she had broken it or injured it at some point in the last couple of years.  Anyway, her doctor thinks she may have Trigger Thumb, so she sent us for an x-ray and then referred us to a Orthopedic Hand Specialist.  While we were there I had her look at Hannah because she has had a cold and gooey eyes all week.  She thinks she has Pick Eye! So she wrote her a Rx.  So we checked in at the x-ray and then checked me in to the lab for blood work and waited.  Big mistake I should have checked the Rx in first so after the blood work and x-ray we went to the pharmacy.  Rx take forever and a day to fill.  So after 3 hours yes 3 HOURS we finally left the Kaiser.  Then we hit the road to Eagle Rock to pick up Nana for the weekend.  We had lunch and Ernie's (which brought back a lot of memories.  When Papa was alive we use to go their after church for an early dinner).  Then we hit the road back home.  Finally home and changed the sheets on Amy's bed so Nana can have that room.  Kent set up a cot in our room for Amy.  We ran to costco so Hannah can have diapers and formula and then went to Mimi's for Soup and grilled cheese.  Home and relaxing now.

Glamis? Doesn't look like it!

So we went to Glamis for the weekend but from the pictures I took you would never even notice. The babies were so cute thats all I took pictures of!  Believe it or not we did go on rides, well Kent and Amy went on a lot of rides.  Hannah has a bit of a cold so I kept her at camp.  However, we did go on a little ride to the small dunes.  It was fun.

My girls all dressed in pink and ready for bed.
Oh my, the only camping picture and who's that I see?  RICKY!!  Holy cow!
We put Linkyn and Hannah in a playpen outside and they really played well together.
Linkyn and Hannah on the trampoline.  Linkyn is 3 months older then Hannah.
Amy loves Linkyn, she said she wishes she was her sister!!
Striker and Amy playing on the trampoline.
Thanks everyone for a really fun time.  Sorry not many pictures of camp and riding, but there's always next time.  Hint, hint.  I think Presidents weekend is open!!

Quick update!

Hannah is feeling much better, as of Wednesday no more diarrhea!  She was sick for exactly 1 week and that is want the dr. had said.  We are off to Glamis so I'll have lots to post when we return.  Rick is even going this time, so there might be a picture or two of him!!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Done done done with diarrhea

I am not posting a picture for the obvious reason but don't think I haven't been tempted.  Hannah has had the stomach flu since Wednesday.  Every morning since then when she wakes up she is covered from head to toe with diarrhea.  So I strip her down in her bed, give her a bath, take her sheets off her bed, rinse and wash everything and put it all back together to just do again in the morning.  We are now on day 5 and I sure hope there is an end!!  I don't know how much more I can take.  Not to mention it is a lot of work stripping the crib and putting it back together everyday!!  I thought she was teething with the diarrhea and bad diaper rash, but Wendy watched her on Friday and she thinks its the flu.  I called the doctor and she said there is a 7-10 day stomach flu going around with vomiting and diarrhea and since Amy was vomiting last Friday I think Wendy is right and its the flu.  She at least is happy and you wouldn't know that she wasn't feeling well unless you get close enough to smell her! Keep me in your thoughts and prayers that we get through this soon.
