Barstow New Years!

We decided to try a new camping spot for New Years.  Most of our friends where heading to Glamis this year and we just don't do Glamis. So some frineds invited us to Stoddard Wells. Kent got home late Friday night from work and since we had no idea where we were going we decided to leave Saturday morning.  It was only an hour drive, PERFECT!

We unloaded and took a drive to slash -X a bar out in the dirt.

 It was packed we didn't even get to stay.

 Later the girls were in our Motorhome coloring.  Hannah, Lexie and Amy (not pictured ;))

 Right outside of camp there was a small kid track.

  When we walked back from In N Out there was some people from Australia looking at Dave's car.  They were here on Holiday for 17 days.  The one guy builds exhausts for cars and I guess it was on Dave's car or something like that.  Anyway, we talked for a while and Dave gave the guys a ride in his car.  They loved it!

See this mountain?  See that some trail?  Well, Brenda and I walked it both Saturday and Sunday.  All the way to the TOP!  On Saturday we named the mountain, because well we had a show after we arrived at the top.  It was an x rated show at that! So the mountain is now called porn hill. From Saturday afternoon on, all the guys wanted to go to the top.  I'll leave it at that!

Cheese that is.

I am so not a Chuck E. Cheese fan.  First off the pizza is awful and second I feel like its dirty with all those snot nose kids running around.  Well, the first week of Christmas break was such a blur that I told Amy the next two weeks would do something fun.  So we had friend spend the night and I took the girls Chuckie E. Cheese. We went early they open at 9 a.m. but we got there close to 10:30 a.m. I let them play then we ordered pizza dn played some more.  It was starting to get crowded and the kids had used all their tokens so we got out of there.  If I go again I will be there when it opens, no one was there and it felt clean. 

 I had the salad bar and it was so bad.

 Hannah kept saying I want to meet the rat, well she got her chance and she ran right up to him. so cute.

Hamburger Hamlet

Last week I met some old friends for lunch.  We decided on Pasadena because it was a half way point.

I haven't seen these girls in years and they have never met my daughters.  Amy was at a friends house so i only had Hannah.  They loved her.  She was our entertainment and I think she loved all the attention!

Christmas

Christmas day this year was in Simi Valley, we rotate the holiday every other year.  So after we had Santa gifts, Kent made us an amazing breakfast and we opened our gifts to each other.  We got ready and headed to Simi Valley. We feasted on a yummy dinner of Flank steak, twice baked potatoes green beans, salad, jello salad and garlic bread. Let me tell you everything was delish!

 Then we ate pie, we had a pie off sorta off.  We made a pie and my mom made a pie.  I believe my mom's pie won.  We'll get her next year! hahahah

We had a nice christmas weekend.  Crazy that the new year is already here.
