Holy cow, 12 month check up!

My baby is 12 months old.  We had her appointment today for shots and check up.  Weight was 21.8 lbs. (60% tile) and height is 29 inches (50% tile).   At Kaiser when they turn 1 they don't have to get naked and weigh on the baby scale.  So they ask you to have them hold on to the sides and stand on the scale like a BIG girl!  Look how cute she is here!

Now we are in the operatory waiting for Dr. to come in.  Here she is in her diaper waiting for shots and check up.  Kind of sad, she is so happy and has no idea what is about to happen.
So because she is 1 day shy of 12 months old, the dr. said she couldn't give her all of her shots.  She got 2 today and lucky me I get to take her back next week for 2 more shots.  So now for the funny story, after the nurse gave Hannah her shots she put band aids on them, well she did not want the band aid so she ripped it off, now she is bleeding all over me and her.  So the nurse gets another band aid and Hannah rips that one off too.  So I just say forget it and the bleeding stopped so we leave to get my errands done for the party tomorrow.  We run to Costco, where I chatted with people I knew, to the school and Del Taco.  So I am telling Amy the band aid story and Amy without skipping a beat says " so mom is that the band aid Hannah ripped off on your BOOB!"  Why yes it is!  I am wearing a black shirt with a round band aid stuck to my BOOB! Awesome!  The best part is nobody says anything.  Good thing my 6 year old has my back.  Just too bad it was after I ran errands all day.

Amy's first "real" haircut

My sweet little Amy has very fine hair.  She had a "first" haircut at the age of 3 in my bedroom by my mom.  However, her hair just doesn't grow that fast and is very fine.  Usually I trim it every so often in my room and it usually is not a very good cut.  (Slightly uneven).  Anyway, she has been bugging me to cut her hair,  so I took her to Fantastic Sams after school on Monday and she got her first "professional" haircut and she LOVED it.  It does look good and all the dead ends are gone.

She was loving this part.
She wants this lady to wash her hair every day!!!
It was cute cause she was a bit nervous.
She cut off 2 inches!
Yeah, one happy girl!!!

Cool Hair for Amy

I have been trying to new some new and fun hair styles on Amy.  Here is the one I did for Slaven's party.

I made 5 small french braids and then put them in one ponytail and curled the remaining hair.
Pretty hair for a pretty girl.

Slaven's Homecoming Party!

Here he is the man of the hour, SLAVEN!  Glad he is home from Iraq safely.  Welcome home and thank you for serving!
This is my Aunt Nancy and Hannah couldn't get enough of her.  I think she may of thought she was her nana, since she hasn't seen her in so long.
We hardly saw Amy.  She was having so much running and playing with the other girls.
My sweet Nana with Amy and Hannah.
Nana and Hannah.
Hannah was looking at Kota the dinosaur.
Aunt Ronda was feeding Kota.  This thing is a crack up.  It is so animated.
Hannah had to sit on Kota, it doesn't walk but it moves his head.
Amy wanted in on the action.
I think someone is starting young.  Good thing daddy had a good grip on the bottle or a certain someone would have had it all over the place.
Caden on Kota.
Favorite Aunt Tami and Hannah.
My cousin Diane and Hannah.  She loves getting her baby girl fix.
The fun table.  We got a bit out of control.
Thanks again Slaven for serving our country and glad you are home safely!

Crazy Hannah

This kid of mine is so crazy!  She crawls out to the pool table room and climbs up on Amy's desk.

She is so proud of herself and poking Amy with the pencil she found.
Mommy put her on the floor, look at the mess she made.

My Niece is so beautiful

My niece Kilee went to the prom last Saturday with her boyfriend.  (I believe its his prom and a rival school)  That girl is so crazy! :)   Anyway, my sister sent me these pictures and I had to post them.  Not sure why they are so small.

Kilee with her boyfriend
Kilee and her friend.  If you make the picture bigger you can see how beautiful her teeth are.  Lets give a shout out to Dr. Dandona  and Dr. Curry in Northridge, CA.  Thanks for giving my niece a beautiful smile.  Miss you all.
